I am not the author of mlbviewer, but I love this software and I use it on a daily basis. Hopefully this package helps some other baseball fans out there. Note that mlbviewer requires a media player that is capable of reading from stdin. The authors recommend mplayer2, and personally I use mpv. See the 'video_player' variable in ~/.mlb/config.
