@slack_twot Upstream package pulls the latest JUCE by default, which is not working properly with the current version of X server and throws error, so I switch the branch to 6.1.2. I am aware that 6.1.2 is in repositories but to change this, I have to modify upstream's
CMakeLists.txt

It has to be totally reworked. Or recycled.

For me this only builds from the terminal using pacaur, it threw a build error at the end for reasons related to permissions. If you experience the same then try building it from a terminal session. Additionally is it necesary to pull in Juce with
git -C libs/JUCE checkout 6.1.2
