Sorry, I fucked the paste up. Line 100 shouldn't be there. That's actually the argument I used for namecoin-cli later (It still looks for .bitcoin/bitcoin.conf) http://pastebin.com/G5RwXfxs My PKGBUILD does not rename the library, so there should be still conflicts with bitcoin

After some tweaking I am convinced this scripts needs major update. It fails naming the files causing extreme conflict with other wallets including the bitcoin wallet. manpage - binaries, and libraries all with bitcoin as opposed to namecoin. It cause conflicts with /usr/bin/bitcoind provided by the bitcoin wallet, as well as bitcoin-cli, bitcoin-tx, test_bitcoin etc. libtool: install: /usr/bin/install -c bitcoind /home/jza/Downloads/namecoin-core/pkg/namecoin-core/usr/bin/bitcoind libtool: install: /usr/bin/install -c bitcoin-cli /home/jza/Downloads/namecoin-core/pkg/namecoin-core/usr/bin/bitcoin-cli libtool: install: /usr/bin/install -c bitcoin-tx /home/jza/Downloads/namecoin-core/pkg/namecoin-core/usr/bin/bitcoin-tx libtool: install: /usr/bin/install -c test/test_bitcoin /home/jza/Downloads/namecoin-core/pkg/namecoin-core/usr/bin/test_bitcoin libtool: install: /usr/bin/install -c bench/bench_bitcoin /home/jza/Downloads/namecoin-core/pkg/namecoin-core/usr/bin/bench_bitcoin I tried renaming them but that only go so far. I will suggest to rename these files to namecoin* and be able to co-exist in the system.

I am getting issues with namecoind during the makepkg -i install: cannot stat 'contrib/debian/manpages/namecoind.1': No such file or directory ==> Entering fakeroot environment... ==> Starting package()... -> Installing license... -> Installing man pages... ==> ERROR: A failure occurred in package().

namecoin-core/PKGBUILD: line 24: cd: namecoin-core/src/namecoin-nc0.3.80: No such file or directory The directory is called “namecoin-legacy-nc0.3.80”.
