Wow, a lot has changed since I last touched this. I don't use netdata anymore, so I'm orphaning this package. I'm sure someone will step up and do a much better job than I did.

Thanks for the heads-up, will do it soon.

Would be great if this could get updated with the new sysusers/tmpfiles/install file from the official package.

Thanks, updated.

Please consider adding new health configuration files to backup=(...), something like: diff --git a/PKGBUILD b/PKGBUILD index 4064269..f2fa45b 100644 --- a/PKGBUILD +++ b/PKGBUILD @@ -13,7 +13,8 @@ optdepends=('nodejs: Webbox plugin') source=("$_gitname::git+https://github.com/firehol/netdata") provides=('netdata') conflicts=('netdata') -backup=('etc/netdata/netdata.conf' 'etc/netdata/charts.d.conf' 'etc/netdata/apps_groups.conf') +backup=('etc/netdata/'{apps_groups,charts.d,health_email_recipients,netdata,python.d}.conf + 'etc/netdata/health.d/'{apache,cpu,disks,entropy,memcached,mysql,named,net,nginx,qos,ram,redis,swap,squid}.conf) install="$pkgname.install"

@codi I was reading this post https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=213408 and got to thinking that you could try rebuilding all the perl modules that have been built from the AUR. I had a similar error with gscan2pdf regarding perl binaries. I rebuilt the related AUR perl stuff and it fixed the issue. It's a long shot, but maybe rebuilding all your installed perl AUR modules may fix it.

@codi my bad. Disregard my last. I didn't look to see if the deps were AUR or not.

codl commented on 2016-06-19 21:52 (UTC)

@ShaunPC rebuilding deps? none of them are AUR packages though, they're all from the official repositories. should I build them from ABS or something

@SanskritFritz Awesome. I love open source. @codi try rebuilding all the dependencies. This tends to fix such errors as one of the libraries has likely had a version update since one of the dependencies were last compiled.

@ShaunPC: Upstream fixed it, package updated.
