This package includes https://github.com/notion-enhancer/notion-enhancer built-in and is based on top of https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/notion-app/.

It is likely that this version will have more bugs than the original, so if you don't need the enhancements and this package doesn't work for you, try notion-app instead.

Hello, jamezrin!

In the most recent release of this package, I'm encountering permission issues with the chrome-sandbox executable. The chrome-sandbox doesn't work without having its permission set to root only and changing the permission to 3755. However, notion works perfectly fine if the --no-sandbox flag is passed.

For me, with the current update notion is working again. :)

@Ataraxy it's the default generated by electron-builder. I don't see any point in them either, but it doesn't hurt, so I kept them.

An update to notion-repackaged was just released, after this aur updates it'll work again

In notion-app-enhanced.install, why do you have || true on 3 lines?

Eg:

chmod 4755 '/opt/Notion Enhanced/chrome-sandbox' || true

If these commands fail, why would we want to continue?

Hey! A fix is in the works, it will be released very soon. Please, in the meantime, use the web version.

I am also experiencing that Notion (both notion-app-enhanced and notion-app) loads endlessly. I can spot the following exception in the JavaScript console, wondering if that's the reason:

Uncaught (in promise) SqliteSchemaMismatch: schema failed validation: schema.tables.notion.columns[0].type should be `"integer"`, instead was `"INTEGER"`.

The current issue with the package is caused by the new notion update that broke the the underlying package notion-app.

I recommend following this issue or any other similar one https://github.com/notion-enhancer/notion-repackaged/issues/63#issuecomment-985571779.

App loads endlessly as well as it's underlying package notion-app.

When launching from terminal get the following error in the logs: Error: Error: ENOENT: no such file or directory, open '/opt/Notion Enhanced/resources/app-update.yml'

Workaround suggested by @dklymenk didn't work out for me.
