i'm seeing the cksum failure at the moment:

we are still using an unreleased version of nDPI, I fixed the checksum. should build again (for the time being).

my downloaded nDPI-3.2

We should add rrdtool to the list of dependencies. If no installed rrdtool is found by the build process it will fallback to an older integrated version (1.4.8) that doesn't do well with newer glib2 versions.

Here's an updated PKGBUILD for ntopng 4.0: PKGBUILD

Note I had to use an unreleased nDPI because of issue 3675, and had to disable geoip because it's too much hassle to enable it.

Doesn't start because /var/lib/ntopng is missing from the package.

@t0m5k1 Thanks for the report. I might not be able to help with this in the coming days. I would recommend to check if ntopng has trouble with the redis database or otherwise bad permissions somewhere. Might be that fresh install misses something.
