Oh right! Yes it doesn't seem to build for me

configure: error: in '/tmp/gimp-nufraw/src/nufraw-0.43-3':
configure: error: --with-gimp was given, but test for gimp failed

I just had an old version installed, and yay was bugging me about it being missing in AUR. Given the recent hacks, I'm wary about leaving orphaned packages. I'll just file for deletion again. Thanks for the info.

Actually, gimp binding in this package is disabled now. It was developed for gimp 2 and seems broken with gimp 3. Were you able to build it properly in gimp-nufraw?

gimp-nufraw was recently deleted. I didn't understand why, so I uploaded it again. It was unclear to me that this package (nufraw) was the same thing! Was gimp-nufraw deleted in favour of this package?

I had a look at the differences in PKGBUILDs but it's unclear which is "better". I can delete gimp-nufraw if this one is preferred.

I'm also not sure how to resolve the confusion in the name. I think this package should have some mention of gimp, but it is named correctly because the official name doesn't have "gimp-" in it . Perhaps it's worth putting the word "gimp" into the description though?

And this also shouldn't depend on the legacy lcms package, but on lcms2, available from repo.

Actually, "extra/gimp-nufraw" also provides the nufraw executable.

So if "extra/gimp-nufraw" is not renamed to "nufraw" nor "nufraw" is added to it's provides and conflicts arrays, I think this AUR package here should be just a shim which depends on gimp-nufraw and has $pkgver calculated from the installed gimp-nufraw.

Otherwise I think it should be flagged for deletion as duplicate of "extra/gimp-nufraw"

Regards!

Hey, shouldn't this package conflict with gimp-nufraw?
