Oh right! Yes it doesn't seem to build for me
I just had an old version installed, and
yaywas bugging me about it being missing in AUR. Given the recent hacks, I'm wary about leaving orphaned packages. I'll just file for deletion again. Thanks for the info.salsergey commented on 2026-06-30 11:41 (UTC) (edited on 2026-06-30 11:42 (UTC) by salsergey)
Actually, gimp binding in this package is disabled now. It was developed for gimp 2 and seems broken with gimp 3. Were you able to build it properly in

gimp-nufrawwas recently deleted. I didn't understand why, so I uploaded it again. It was unclear to me that this package (nufraw) was the same thing! Wasgimp-nufrawdeleted in favour of this package?I had a look at the differences in PKGBUILDs but it's unclear which is "better". I can delete
gimp-nufrawif this one is preferred.I'm also not sure how to resolve the confusion in the name. I think this package should have some mention of gimp, but it is named correctly because the official name doesn't have "gimp-" in it . Perhaps it's worth putting the word "gimp" into the description though?

And this also shouldn't depend on the legacy
lcmspackage, but onlcms2, available from repo.dreieck commented on 2023-07-28 08:39 (UTC) (edited on 2023-07-28 08:40 (UTC) by dreieck)
Actually, "extra/gimp-nufraw" also provides the
nufrawexecutable. So if "extra/gimp-nufraw" is not renamed to "nufraw" nor "nufraw" is added to it's
providesandconflictsarrays, I think this AUR package here should be just a shim which depends ongimp-nufrawand has$pkgvercalculated from the installedgimp-nufraw.Otherwise I think it should be flagged for deletion as duplicate of "extra/gimp-nufraw"
Regards!

Hey, shouldn't this package conflict with
gimp-nufraw?
