@yari Nothing wrong on your end, a patch I am applying prior to building was no longer up to date. That should be fixed now.

@LordBlick I fixed the locale issue by forcing LC_ALL=C but I am not too sure how to tackle options not being saved. It might be an issue with pobfrontend and a similar one to the one preventing auto update.

hi, had this working before re-installing linux, now from pamac I get the error log linked in this https://pastebin.com/CuBMn6Ru What did I forget?

It's nice to meet this on Linux/arch, I really appreciate that. Anyway I've found some issues here:
– Application during saving takes into account current locale, which can cause crash when loaded next time, because reading does not recognize in example comma as decimal separator. Probably it should be set C locale to saving process or so…
– Options are not saved (different that default builds folder etc.)
Also please bump to 1.4.170.2

Yes the auto update feature is not supported by pobfrontend. Or at least, I could not get it working. We would need pobfrontend to be able to have the content file separated from the runtime, but it does not seem possible right now.

So yes, until this is addressed, you need to re-install the package manually every time you want it updated.

Also, I added a desktop entry file now, so you can find the application within your favorite DE application launcher. Since the project (both the original and the fork actually) do not seem to have an icon, I made a shitty one.

Also the "Check for Update" Button inside of Path of Building does not work. Reinstalling after a new Tree Update (Harvest League Tree Data) did it for me though. (Version 1.4.169.2 -> 1.4.169.3)

Literal God ! Thank you very much for this Package :) Was a little confusing that the executable is in /opt/pathof... instead of the user directory or smth. (am new to linux - sorry) but i made it work thanks to the comment on the Standard PoB release from u.
