The manual installation install in these paths, not in "/opt/pgmodeler", maybe the problem is in the link to "/opt/pgmodeler" /usr/local/bin/pgmodeler /usr/local/bin/pgmodeler-cli /usr/local/lib/pgmodeler /usr/local/lib/pgmodeler/bin ... /usr/local/share/pgmodeler https://paste.debian.net/271832/

Hi fzerorubigd, Can you tell me a bit more about this ? What are the unused files ? How did you detect them ? And what do you mean by "nothing is shown"? I can start pgmodeler here, even though I have a message warning me about a permission problem.

Hi markusin. I can't reproduce your problem, from a fresh install. I don't even have the "Project WARNING: qmake spec does not announce the compiler family. Guessed gcc." at the beginning. There must be something peculiar with your machine, I don't know what though :(

some un-used file inside this package. and also after upgrading to alpha-1, nothing is shown after executing the app.

Took over this orphaned package, and upgraded to 0.8.0

0.8.0 is out.

It seems this bug is solved in git: https://github.com/pgmodeler/pgmodeler/pull/545

Exact same problem with @rkmax , any idea?
