@MarsSeed Sorry, I messed up one of my scripts, and an erroneous -git suffix was added to a bunch of dependencies without me noticing it. I've fixed the bug, so it shouldn't happen again.

I then went through the PKGBUILDs and corrected the affected dependencies, and also submitted to the AUR the ones that were missing; so verything should be good now, but do let me know if I missed something.

Thank you once again for your contributions, and sorry for my period of inactivity!

@IslandC0der, thank you for the package update. But it now requires a nonexistent dependency, sh-git. Please kindly remove that.

It would be preferable if you pushed only PKGBUILDs that you have tested and are in fully working condition. I am seeing that many of your recent pushes created packages with missing dependencies.

Thank you for all your efforts in maintaining KDE git builds on AUR!

plasma-framework actually requires plasma-activities-stats rather than kactivities-stats

I have created the relevant git package here:

kactivities-stast-git should be plasma-activities-stats-git as far as I know. (different upstream git repo)

This package currently has a circular dependency with kde-cli-tools-git and is also missing a dependency on kunitconversion-git.

It doesn't depend on (they're obsolete in KF6):

  • kdelibs4support-git
  • kdesignerplugin-git
  • kinit-git

And now depends on plasma5support-git

@IslandC0der oh I see, thanks for the response and explanation

@cniw Sorry for the late response, but that's the way it is on the official PKGBUILD

When building plasma-workspace for the first time, you can use the -d flag with makepkg to ignore that missing dependency. I can't simply remove it from the dependency list, since it is indeed a dependency.

It would be nice if we could add runtime-only dependencies, as it isn't required when building, but sadly such a feature does not exist.

Can't build because of loop depends issue with kde-cli-tools-git package, kde-cli-tools-git has plasma-workspace-git in its makedepends list.

CMake Error at CMakeLists.txt:61 (find_package):
Could not find a configuration file for package "LibKWorkspace" that is
  compatible with requested version "5.24.80".

The following configuration files were considered but not accepted:

    /usr/lib64/cmake/LibKWorkspace/LibKWorkspaceConfig.cmake, version: 5.21.80
    /usr/lib/cmake/LibKWorkspace/LibKWorkspaceConfig.cmake, version: 5.21.80
    /lib64/cmake/LibKWorkspace/LibKWorkspaceConfig.cmake, version: 5.21.80
    /lib/cmake/LibKWorkspace/LibKWorkspaceConfig.cmake, version: 5.21.80

plasma-workspace-git package should build first before kde-cli-tools-git package, so kde-cli-tools-git should removed from plasma-workspace-git depends list

Yup, it will :)
