Thanks tgheretford for pointing this out. I can only test the HackRF backend myself, so I'm glad for any feedback on other devices. I added the flag now in 4.6-2.

The build part of the PKGBUILD needs -DRTLSDR_LINUX=ON \ adding as an option for cmake prior to compiling, otherwise the RTL-SDR dongle (called dabstick) will not appear in the input device options.

The sdr-j-dabreceiver application has been renamed to qt-dab. Everyone should use qt-dab and not the old package.

(Comments dated 2017 and older are from the legacy AUR/sdr-j-dabreceiver package page.)

I will request name change for this one later on, but this one is for stable releases only

I've created a new package for the changed upstream. The actual dependencies and soforth are changed, so it's almost substantively different; perhaps this package should be retained alongside the git version? https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/qt-dab-git/

I propose that the -DDABSTICK=ON flag should be uncommented by default in the PKGBUILD because I guess that most users have an RTL2832U stick.

@tgheretford, SammysHP thx TODO: • Test on armv7h (OrangePi here) • DAB-cmdline https://github.com/JvanKatwijk/dab-cmdline • ada gtk version https://github.com/JvanKatwijk/ada-dab • fm receiver https://github.com/JvanKatwijk/sdr-j-fm • probably more executables need to be compiled and installed

I've successfully managed to build qt-dab from the new github source without much difference from the commands within the PKGBUILD for those who wish to build from source whilst waiting for the AUR package to be updated (with a name change most likely). The options to turn on various RTL-SDR, Airspy and Spectrum analyser options have to be set within the cmake command: cmake -DDABSTICK=ON -DRTLTCP=ON -DSPECTRUM=ON -DAIRSPY=ON -DAIRSPYLIB_INCLUDE_DIR='/usr/include/libairspy/' ../ One problem I have noted, DAB+ won't work with the FAAD package from extra. It will error with "Warning: No standard extension payload allowed in DRM", something I didn't see happen with version 0.997-0. Another DAB/DAB+ package I also managed to build is a fork of qt-dab - welle.io which also needs qt-charts to be installed alongside the usual qt-dab dependencies.

Program was renamed to qt-dab, old repository is gone: https://github.com/JvanKatwijk/qt-dab

Apparently there is an upstream versioning problem with qt5-quick1 5.7.0. A dirty hack for the time being is correcting the version manually to 5.7.0 in /usr/lib64/cmake/Qt5Declarative/Qt5DeclarativeConfig.cmake:100. Then sdr-j-dabreceiver builds and DAB+ reception works.
