Get the latest version of freerdp-git. That should resolve your issue.

Gettign this error, so I can't update it...:

Please add -DWITH_FREERDP3=ON build flag in order to compile with the latest freerdp.

Edit: I'd be willing to take over ownership of maintaining.

I am unable to build the latest git release due to the fillowing:

/usr/include/pango-1.0/pango/pango-coverage.h:28:10: fatal error: hb.h: No such file or directory

Seems there is a problem with pango and harfbuzz. I have both installed and updated to latest versions.

Remmina has new dependencies.

I've also submitted this:

https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=1856030#p1856030

Available for help if needed.

Thanks @eworm! As usual...

In clean chroot, I'm getting the following error;

CMake Error at /usr/share/cmake-3.15/Modules/FindPackageHandleStandardArgs.cmake:137 (message): Could NOT find sodium (missing: sodium_LIBRARY_RELEASE sodium_LIBRARY_DEBUG sodium_INCLUDE_DIR) Call Stack (most recent call first): /usr/share/cmake-3.15/Modules/FindPackageHandleStandardArgs.cmake:378 (_FPHSA_FAILURE_MESSAGE) cmake/Findsodium.cmake:227 (find_package_handle_standard_args) CMakeLists.txt:328 (find_package)

Adding libsodium to makedeps fixes this error. However, I'm stuck at compilation with this error;

[ 72%] Built target remmina-plugin-www make: *** [Makefile:130: all] Error 2 ==> ERROR: A failure occurred in build(). Aborting...

Also the source moved to gitlab.

Sources moved to gitlab, should this not be flagged out-of-date and the AUR repo pointed there?

You updated openh264, including a soname bump. Just rebuild all packages that depend on that library. Nothing to report.

kirreen commented on 2019-06-18 12:39 (UTC)

Remmina can't start sometimes after updates, since it needs /usr/lib/libopenh264.so.4. My system has libopenh264.so.5, so I symlink .4 to that. This has been my solution several times now.

I'm assuming this is better to comment here than send to the main devs? I'm guessing most distros have older versions of openh264.

@STG there is probably much more to do than that change as the remmina API is changed quite a lot, we, upstream, don't support those plugins because they use a technology that is going to be deprecated (XEmbed).

You can build remmina and the plugin by yourself and ask support onthe remmina Reddit and irc
