Just execute 'rodent'. Following is a PKGBUILD and rodent.install file for a 5.2.8 build. https://gist.github.com/bbidulock/712a8fd4bdea33c3baf4

fyi: installs some kind of desktop environment. it does include a file manager, but i have not figured how to launch it seperately.

Was using chrpath to fix a weird RPATH issue in a previous version. Should be fixed now, any other issues let me know.

RTFM.pdf is installed to '/usr/share/doc/@RC_DIR@/' Change '$(datadir)/doc/@RC_DIR@' to eg. '$(datadir)/doc/@PACKAGE_NAME@' in Build/share/Makefile.in chrpath is not needed - use: './configure --prefix=/usr' and 'make install DESTDIR="$pkgdir"'

With the new version, I just can't make it to compile and install, I will disown it so someone else can make it work

Version 4.9.2 is out. As you're not using Arch anymore if you are looking for someone else to maintain this package I'd be happy to.
