It looks like Resilio updated sync to 3.0 - the checksum check will fail as-is. However if you download the file manually from https://www.resilio.com/sync/download/, do a
sha256sum
on it, and replace the sha256sum in thePKGBUILD
for your architecture,makepkg -si
seems to work just fine, and it runs without any issue.SycoLTH commented on 2024-06-07 22:37 (UTC)
fyi.. checksum for x86_64 is wrong.

I'm able to download the 2.8.0
.dmg
for MacOS, but I'm having trouble finding a URL for the linux packages, either.rpm
,.deb
or just.tar.gz
.Edit: Ended up finding the urls from their Download Resilio Sync for Windows, Mac, Linux & FreeBSD page.

Sounds like a 2.8 release is coming out soon. Crazy.

Anyone figure out how to cut down on this log spam?

@xochikubrick: Holy moly, they updated!
xochikubrick commented on 2022-03-30 14:54 (UTC)
Latest update cant be installed, I get a check sum error:
==> Validating source_x86_64 files with sha256sums... rslsync_x64-2.7.2-2.tar.gz ... FAILED ==> ERROR: One or more files did not pass the validity check! Failed to build rslsync
Any suggestions?

@david_rysk: Maybe you already figured out, but it is gone from the AUR because it is now core/libxcrypt-compat.
david_rysk commented on 2022-02-27 19:39 (UTC)
Seems broken due to libxcrypt-compat being removed from the AUR.

@hcjl you guys are awesome, thanks! I have rslsync up and running again. Out of curiosity, how does the Arch community decide whether a dependency gets moved from the AUR to core?
