To all having an issue with this driver: please try https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/rtl88xxau-aircrack-dkms-git alternatively.

The driver won't compile on kernel 4.11 because the kernel moved some packages around. I put in a PR to the upstream to fix this, but don't update your kernel until this is merged if you rely on this driver (or build the fix yourself): https://github.com/gnab/rtl8812au/pull/110

EDIT: Hi, I cannot explain why, but it seems to work fine now. Please disregard the report below. I noticed that since kernel has been updated to 4.6.4: the module seems to compile fine, and interface is up, but I cannot connect to the wifi. It times out after 1 minute or so. Anyone else experiencing the same issue? I reported the same problem with rtl8812au_rtl8821au-dkms-git.

@swagneto about the fit version, it is changed whenever you build it. The version in aur depends on when I last pushed the package (I don't do that for every commit). About your problem with the kernel. You better ask that on the git repo. Sometimes the driver has to be patched in order to work with newly released kernels. There are a couple of repositories out there on github for this driver. Sometimes another repo is faster in updating to support a new kernel. I tried to get them to work on one repository but every one wants his own...

Just tried rebuilding this on the 4.4.5-1-ARCH kernel and wifi isn't come back up. Anyone else having problems? Also, the git version is past r47.2a9bbb7-1.

Hi Flow, please check the Readme of the git Repo for instructions on building this for Arm. If you have any issue, you should file it there.
