@adaptee it wasnt so back when I made that comment :) Theres still no sign of color or vi keys patches for rtorrent 0.8.9 afaik, so I cant really do anything just yet. I can upload a libtorrent 0.12.6 package to aur though and point this pkgbuild to that.

I guess that is because libtorrent in [community] is 0.12.9 now, and this package requies 0.12.6

Why was this flagged out of date? 0.8.6 is the latest stable release on rtorrent website.

@jt512 thats because rtorrent needs a fix (patch) for ncurses 5.8. @tjwoosta please add this patch PATCH regenerate http://aur.pastebin.com/vgy9GREU PKGBUILD patch -uNp1 -i "${srcdir}/fix_ncurses_5.8.patch"

For some reason, I suddenly started to get segmentation faults when starting rtorrent-vi-color. I "downgraded" to rtorrent-color, and don't get the segmentation faults using that program.

This is great. I've always hated having to go to the arrow keys to scroll in rtorrent.
