Please consider changing the source directly to https://github.com/rustdesk/rustdesk/releases/download/1.1.8/rustdesk-1.1.8-manjaro-arch.pkg.tar.zst instead of using fastgit.org - right now it appears to have been rate-limited by Cloudflare so the package building process fails, making it impossible to install rustdesk-bin without changing the URL manually in the PKGBUILD file.

Yes, makedepends completely useless here and should be removed.

The rustdesk-bin package should not have makedependencies or am I wrong? (Or at least not so many)

the desktop file, it must go in /usr/share/applications/
