python-steamcontroller-git

Switched the package to a Python 3 fork, which is identical to upstream except for Python 3 patches.
If you run into an issue that's related to Python compatibility, report it to Ryochan7's fork, not kozec's.

Alright, I do use the app from time to time, so I have time for testing.
I'll wait for the fork maintainer to package a stable release so I can change it together with AUR/sc-controller (and possibly after an issue with OSD gets fixed)

@C0rn3j I sadly havent used this in a little bit. Just added you as co-maintainer if you want to take up the changes. Thanks.

With very few changes I was able to switch to the Python 3 fork, would you consider changing the source repo?
I would probably be conservative with changing pkgver in case upstream adopts the changes to avoid an epoch.

Maintainer's statement about status of the fork - https://github.com/Ryochan7/sc-controller/issues/6#issuecomment-657757132
I'll try to get the maintainer of AUR/sc-controller on board when there's a tagged release too.

Added. Thanks for the heads up.

Requires xorg-xinput to pass input to system, should be added to dependencies

Removal of python2-evdev is probably related to this planned python2 cleanup: https://lists.archlinux.org/pipermail/arch-dev-public/2019-February/029475.html
As far as I can see, there was no decision posted in that thread, but there were no objections to it either, so someone probably started to clean up.

Anyone know what happened to it? I can't find any mentions of removal. Upstream "highly recommends" having it installed.

"python2-evdev" no longer in arch repos...
