Starting with leptonica 1.83 (still not in community), scantools won't compile. I started a MR here: https://gitlab.com/kebekus/scantools/-/merge_requests/3, where a patch can be downloaded. Let me know if it works correctly for everyone.

Bumped to version 1.0.0.
If you get any weird Qt-related errors like "Error while build: invoked with incorrect arguments for macro named: _populate_Gui_plugin_properties" try reinstalling/removing manually built Qt packages. The culprit in my case was "qt5-pbfimageplugin".

@grunix I'm aware of that problem and of the new version. I'm afraid the new version does not build at all due to some obscure Qt problem which also occurs with other packages.

I can't build the package on my system please see the error log: https://gist.github.com/grunes/ac3a1f5aa9542abca046c2f97a08f556
After installing extra/poppler-qt5 I was able to build the package. Please add it to the dependency list!
In the meantime there is a version 0.7.0 in the repo. Please update to new new version.

Just to be clear: Is this still the same error about "curl_easy_getinfo@CURL_OPENSSL_4" being undefined?

I tried "A conda deactivate before installing does the trick" unfortunately it shows same error, this time at 96%:
[ 96%] Linking CXX executable bitVectorTest [ 96%] Built target bitVectorTest make: *** [Makefile:141: all] Error 2 ==> ERROR: Se produjo un fallo en build(). Cancelando... Error making: scantools

I'm sorry for not having answered before, I didn't realize you had written that last comment. Yes, I have Anaconda installed, I use it for python language practices. Can I reinstall anaconda afterwards?
