2.2.1 is still the latest version for Linux, so no reason to flag this package out-of-date. Version 2.2.2 appears to be available for Windows only.

After installation, the iked daemons has to be started and/or enable such as "sudo systemctl enable iked && sudo systemctl start iked"

Supposedly there in a v2.2.2 release out now https://lists.shrew.net/pipermail/vpn-devel/2013-July/000629.html but I couldn't find any link to it on the linux & BSD download page here: https://www.shrew.net/download/ike

Here's a diff for the PKGBUILD file that will allow it to build < -DPATH_MAN=/usr/share -DQT_QT_LIBRARY=/usr/lib/libqt-mt.so \ < -DQT_INCLUDE_DIR=/usr/include/qt3 -DQT_UIC_EXECUTABLE=/usr/bin/uic-qt3 \ < -DQT_MOC_EXECUTABLE=/usr/lib/qt3/bin/moc -DMANDIR=/usr/share/man --- > -DPATH_MAN=/usr/share -DQT_QT_LIBRARY=/opt/qt/lib/libqt-mt.so \ > -DQT_INCLUDE_DIR=/opt/qt/include -DQT_UIC_EXECUTABLE=/opt/qt/bin/uic \ > -DQT_MOC_EXECUTABLE=/opt/qt/bin/moc -DMANDIR=/usr/share/man

Hi, qt3 is in repository [extra] and is installed to /usr. See https://www.archlinux.org/packages/extra/x86_64/qt3/ Installation was successful after changing the paths.

For those on pure systemd setups you'll need a service file to get the iked daemon running. /usr/lib/systemd/system/iked.service [Unit] Description=iked Daemon After=syslog.target network.target [Service] Type=forking ExecStart=/usr/sbin/iked [Install] WantedBy=multi-user.target
