@yochananmarqos I assumed that it's not yet released for a reason and that this package should stick to official releases. -git package seems to me like a good way to use the unreleased version. I guess it's up to your judgement how to handle this here.

@yochananmarqos There is already an upstream issue, the devs are aware and it looks like they're witholding fix release because they're testing it? Anyway, wanted a clean way to install it from the main branch in the meantime.

Since the latest release doesn't work right now, but main branch does, I created slimbookbattery-git package: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/slimbookbattery-git. Enjoy!

I suggest that maybe you can modify the PKGBUILD file,download the file from https://github.com/Slimbook-Team/slimbookbattery/releases/download/v4.0.8/slimbookbattery_4.0.8beta_all.deb

Now when I set energy mode to energy save, it outputs [among other things], this:

sh: line 1: pkexec: command not found
