For anyone still having the same problem as @andreip, I found that by following the Arch Locale instructions on generating a locale worked for me, as I had some incorrectly generated locales. After re-generating the correct locales, the problem was solved

For those with NVIDIA hybrid graphics, let me know if nvidia-prime works instead of arch-prime-git.

It does not work anymore on my computer (using Manjaro). It gives the following error. Does anyone know anything about?

(base) [slimbook@slimbook-PROX14 ~]$ slimbookbattery
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/share/slimbookbattery/slimbookbattery", line 5, in <module>
ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'gi'

Exported all my LC_* variables in ~/.profile and it works. Found no other way, locale.conf was generated and contained the variables. Thank you!

@ciferkey: The source won't be available until after the beta phase according to their GitHub README. I just looked at /usr/share/slimbookbattery/slimbookbattery.

@yochananmarqo thanks for taking the package over!

Where did you find the source for the project so you could inspect the error? I wanted to do so myself but couldn't find it.

@andreip I had generated my locale but did not create /etc/locale.conf. Once I set that up and restarted it was able to run.

I don't use the program, so I'll be abandoning it so that someone who can test it will adopt it.

Greetings.

@ciferkey @adreip: I can't reproduce that error. Maybe I have something installed you two don't that need to be added to the dependencies.

Line 29 has something to do with getting the locale. It's looking for either "en", "es", "it" or "gl". If your locale is set to something else, it should default to "en". Is your locale something other than the above?

Similar to andreip I am getting the error:

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/share/slimbookbattery/slimbookbattery", line 29, in <module>
AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'find'
