If you receive an error like this:

ERROR: One or more files did not pass the validity check!

It probably means the package has been updated upstream. In this case, please flag the package as out-of-date and I will update it.

This happens because upstream uses the same filenames for each release.

Same here. I have built it a few times and I have even gone as far as removing the package, though I kept my config. I dropped a note in their feedback section. It is unclear if anybody reads those.

So, the website claims to have released 32.0.3.0. However, the files in the release channel still identify themselves as 32.0.2.0. The download links on the website are pulling it from the beta channel.

To make things even more confusing, they have pushed a new version to the release channel which still identifies itself as 32.0.2.0 but has different checksums than the old version which is why you are getting errors @bezerk.

So I also pulled the files from the beta channel and they are the same files in the release channel.

The only conclusion I can make from this is that 32.0.3.0 is misidentifying itself as 32.0.2.0.

I guess I will release this as 32.0.2.0-3 and see if flashpeak actually fixes this before the next release.

My Arch is just fully udated and rebooted. Then trying to install Slimjet 32.0.2.0-2 and executing a cleanbuild using yay I get: ==> Validating source_x86_64 files with md5sums... slimjet-32.0.2.0_amd64.deb ... FAILED ==> ERROR: One or more files did not pass the validity check! -> error making: slimjet

Thanks for the help everyone. The latest version works for me as well so it has been updated.

32.0.1.0 has been released and I was able to build and launch (64bit) successfully on Manjaro xfce unstable.

I get FATAL:double_fork_and_exec.cc(131)] execv /opt/slimjet/crashpad_handler: No such file or directory (2) with 32.0.0.0

In my case, I cannot browse using slimjet 31.0.2.0. It says timeout error. Firefox ESR/developer edition both work fine.

Neither the version 32.0.0.0 Final nor the Beta (64 bit) worked for me. Manjaro xfce Unstable.

The error is:

[20696:20696:0915/080941.194720:FATAL:double_fork_and_exec.cc(131)] execv /opt/slimjet/crashpad_handler: No such file or directory (2)

slimjet 32.0.0.0 doesn't seem to work on any of my Arch installs so I am reluctant to bump the pkgver as the prior version is still working.

Can anyone confirm the 32.0.0.0 works for them?
