Abandoning as upstream has ceased activity for over a year. I did fix the python-argparse issue.

python-argparse must be removed from the depends array, see ↗ here.

This fails on a base install with:

    from setuptools import setup, find_packages
ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'setuptools'

python-setuptools should probably be added to the depends
