OK, adopted the package and updated the PKGBUILD with a patch to fix the issues in the Rakefile. Haven't had a chance to test the package on clean Arch Linux install, so any problems please report here.

I got it working on 1.9.2 now. I had to remove the dependencies in the Rakefile for xapian-full and ncurses, and I also had to change the "require 'sup-files'" and 'version' to "require './sup-files.rb'". The PKGBUILD installs with the gem with --ignore-dependencies flag, but that doesn't seem to work for me.

Ever since Arch rolled out the new Ruby 1.9.2 I've been unable to get sup running. So now I got ruby-1.9.2_p0-4-i686 and this is what comes out http://pastebin.com/UZQCAuax Sorry for my slow reply, and thanks for your concern. It's very confusing since sup-files.rb is there and by all logic it should be loaded.

It worked fine for me, but I just ran it once a while ago because it fixed a problem that was making sup impossible to use. Please post what the errors you got or email me.

Any tips how to get this to run? Dies with rmake, can't locate "sup-files" or something like that if I recall right.
