I had a problem with the MATE dock not displaying the message count. Renaming the desktop file to org.telegram.desktop.desktop fixes that as well.

Could we please have this changed in the package?

On KDE Wayland session Telegram opens its window with separate yellow W icon and not over the existing icon pinned to taskbar. Installing desktop file with name org.telegram.desktop.desktop instead of telegramdesktop.desktop fixes the issue.

When I change the interface scale of the application, it crashes, has it happened to you?
