I'd love to maintain it and actually patch the upstream in my own fork cause I'm using the app daily, though I probably don't have enough time to make it work.

I'd probably need to patch it so it uses their newest API version (as v8 is sunsetting) and patch those SSL errors.

Thanks for heads up @furai. I'm disowning the package, since it's an abandonware.

Seems this doesn't compile any more from source. There are issues with openssl or maybe poco. No idea to be honest as I'm not that familiar with these.

error: 'RSA_SSLV23_PADDING' was not declared in this scope; did you mean 'RSA_NO_PADDING'

I wonder if it's possible to patch on our own or should we patch it upstream. But from what I know Toggl has abandoned this project in favour of their closed source app/browser plugin.

@shmu26 this how -git AUR packages work. If it compiles and runs then there is no reason to update PKGBUILD, since it always uses the latest git version. And some AUR helpers like yay may automatically pull git remote and upgrade installed package.

The last update was six months ago. But the version number seems to be later than the flatpak, and the GUI shows the brand-new "Toggl Track" theming. Is this the release candidate version of the flatpak?
