There are some issues with building the package:

Could this repository work?:
I saw it as a pull-request here:
The last commit "seems" good, not to be a malicious code.

Then again, I'm a newbie in Arch (not running it on hardware), newbie in AUR and not a C language developer (I use Scala). Consider with criticism.

I get some compilation errors:
Perhaps some dependency is missing? (I also noticed tox-git does not require openal anymore?)

Can we change the pkgver() function to something that does not break version comparison? I would suggest:

git describe --tags | sed 's/-/.r/;s/-/./'
