On my device the link "https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+archive/primary/+files/usb-creator_${pkgver}.tar.gz" ist temporary down. I have used: "https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/oneiric/+source/usb-creator/0.2.34/+files/usb-creator_${pkgver}.tar.gz" in the PKGBUILD file.

with usb-creator-kde I repeatedly got couldn't create image from "" Could not resolve property : linearGradient5167 Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages/usbcreator/frontends/kde/frontend.py", line 523, in format_dest_clicked self.__backend.format(udi) File "/usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages/usbcreator/backends/udisks/backend.py", line 296, in format self.formatting.append(device) AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'append' on trying to format, while usb-creator-gtk (though ugly in my KDE system) worked fine :-) hope this helps anyone with similar troubles.

@hadrons123 This package is supposed to work with Ubuntu (and Debian?) ISO. For Fedora, you may want to try this package: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=29495

i am not able to add iso to the 'other' options of the source image.how to do it? i 've installed all the dependencies. i tried a fedora disk image, it is supposed to work on any iso, isnt it? or is this software exclusive for ubuntu only?

@Pingwinski 'patch' is part of the base-devel group, which is supposed to be already installed by every user of AUR. https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/AUR_User_Guidelines

@utdemir You are right. Thanks for you notification. PKGBUILD updated.

I failed to run gtk frontend without "python2-gobject". You should probably add it as a dependency(I don't know if the kde frontent works or not, if it works, as an optional dependency could be better.).

Please do not mark it as out-of-date. I would like to keep up with the version in official Ubuntu release, not alpha/beta release.
