This AUR package is a mirror and automatically updated from the proaudio binary repo project at https://github.com/osam-cologne/archlinux-proaudio

If possible, open a GitHub issue or PR instead of commenting here, thanks!

If you are interested in a well integrated vcvrack (eventually in the [community] repository), built with system libraries from a verifiable source tarball, please do voice your concern in this issue and/or this pull request. It seems upstream only considers changing anything, as soon as enough customers complain.

@klardotsh: I will update the PKGBUILD soonish. There are plenty of other issues with how the software is being built, too.

This does not build without a makedep of jq

Hey everyone, I put @tsujigri's PKGBUILD up as vcvrack-bin, as @mkoskar suggested.

I've just disowned this package.

1) I'm not using it often anymore to justify maintaining it. 2) Upstream is now linking all the dependencies statically which would need some hacking of Makefile/s to make it link against Arch's libraries.

Or just package the binary as @tsujigiri did, in that case vcvrack-bin would be appropriate name of such package.

@tsujigiri : Thanks, that worked fine for me. I was going to have a go myself as some of my paid plugins had stopped working with the AUR version.

PS Some might mention (read moan) the lack of Pulse support, but if you use ALSA direct or Jack instead then there shouldn't be a problem ;)

I wrote a PKGBUILD that seems to be working for the latest release. https://github.com/tsujigiri/vcvrack-archlinux I don't have much experience with this, so, let me know if anything can be improved. I can also add it as a new package, should this one not be maintained anymore.

hi there, any idea when you'll have some time to update this? Thanks!

How to fix?
