Edit: Ah, only -1 is there but not -3 for e.g. I see. That is strange.

Why do we not use the direct links? E.g:

https://download.wavebox.app/core/linux/tar/Wavebox_10.0.128-1.tar.gz

... and so on. Thank you @qubozik for the package :)!

Darn, they did it again:

==> Validating source files with md5sums...
    wavebox-10.0.128_3.tar.gz ... FAILED
    wavebox.appdata.xml ... Passed
    wavebox.menu ... Passed
    LICENSE ... Passed

I created a ticket with Wavebox to determine if we can download a release directly rather than using the "latest" download. I'll post here with the outcome of that.

@cataldoc, This should be resolved now.

@dafeder, Right. Every 1-2 weeks Wavebox releases a small update which has a new package name and md5sum.

I did update after @qubozik's comment was posted and it was successful. I believe the real problem here is that there is no permanent URL to specific releases, it's always just "latest." I'm generally pretty disappointed in the Wavebox team's abandonment of basic FOSS practices but maybe they'd at least be open to creating version-specific URLs that persist. If not, we'd probably need to create some kind of cron job running somewhere that tries downloading the latest tarball every few hours and updating the AUR package if it detects a difference.

Or maybe it's time to find a replacement.

@qubozik Hi, sadly still getting md5 validation error as of today

@anydroid and @dafeder, this should be fixed. Let me know otherwise. Sorry for the delay these notifications went to spam and I did not see them.

PKGBUILD needs updating:

md5sum Wavebox_10.0.121-2.tar.gz
