UPDATE 09/19/2021: I (hkuchampudi) am not able to maintain this package any longer. Therefore, I am abandoning it so that someone else who is more interested can maintain it. The GitHub repository has also been archived.

Note: I am only the packager of this application. If you are experiencing issues with the application itself (that do not stem from how the application is packaged), please submit a support request to Windscribe directly (https://windscribe.com/support). Alternatively you can post to the official subreddit (https://www.reddit.com/r/Windscribe/).

If you have found an issue with the packaging, please open an issue on GitHub (https://github.com/hkuchampudi/Windscribe/issues) with clear steps to reproduce the error and any relevant logs. Thanks!

@Agafron I am unable to reproduce this issue on a clean, properly configured VM installation of Arch. You should take a look at windscribe viewlog to see if there is an additional information there. If you are using Docker, be sure that you have added the proper flags to your container to allow iptables. As far as the response, you might have been talking to Gary? You'll probably want to open a support ticket instead.

@clickit Could you please repost your issue to the GitHub link in the pinned comment and we can continue the discussion there (it makes things easier to follow for me and doesn't clutter the comments here). Also, I'm assuming that you are running Arch Linux and not another distribution. In the error that you posted, is that the complete error that is shown? Are you getting a permission denied or operation not permitted or something else? Can you view the Windscribe debug log; is there any additional information there? How are your drives mounted; what are the contents of your fstab file?

@nuc I am unable to replicate your issue on a clean install of Arch linux. I am successfully able to connect and access the Internet as well as disconnect and access the Internet. Therefore, I do not believe there is a problem with the packaging. It will be hard to pinpoint what the problem is without more information. Take a look at your debug logs to see if you can find more information. Additionally, since I don't believe that this is a problem with the packaging, you should submit a support request to Windscribe directly or to the subreddit.

Hm, I've got an issue with this software.. since I have installed it my internet access does not work without connected windscribe vpn anymore. Is this a known bug? And yes the integrated firewall is turned off.
