If you have the "ERROR: One or more files failed the validity check!" problem, try cleaning your AUR cache first, and try again.

I split the /usr/share/mime/packages/wps-office-*.xml files to the wps-office-mime package to avoid mime issues. If you still want the mime files provided by wps-office itself, you can install the new mime package.

There is no official 32-bit package for version 11.1.0.8722, so I drop the support for i686 arch. For archlinux32 users you can create another wps-office package for 32-bit system yourself.

When you shut down wps-office, the wpsoffice process may still exist. You can do sudo chmod -x /usr/lib/office6/wpsoffice to fix it. But this might bring you problem with signing in.

After the install I am having issues to open the .xlsx and .docx files. They are shown as application/zip type and not those. The assignment for .xlsx and .docx are correct to WPS but the problem is that they are shown as zip type. Do you know how to correct it? Plasma5 stable. Thanks

@8XA /opt/kingsoft no exist in my system. after deleting $HOME/.kingsoft, $HOME/.config/kingsoft and $HOME/.cache/Kingsoft, same issue removing wps-office and reinstall do nothing @ouyangjun my DE is plasma, and have [testing] active. EDIT: after intall pkgrev 2 works again, but in GTK style (as say in the changes)

@ouyangjun That's right, now I run wps without the gtk style and without problems. The issue happened because I tried to make an upgranding (I tried to install the new version without uninstall the previous version). @sl1pkn07 You must to uninstall the previous version (yaourt -Rs wps-office) and delete the kingsoft folder (sudo rm -r /opt/kingsoft) fisrt of all, then you can install from yaourt again (yaourt -S wps-office). A clean installation is the key.

I had an issue after updating wps-office to the 10.1.0.5707_a21-1 version, the programms could not open. I have 4.11.6-1-ARCH with Plasma desktop. When I ran writer, spreadsheets or presentation from konsole, it gave me back this message: /usr/bin/wps: line 38: 2475 Segmentation fault ${gInstallPath}/office6/${gApp} ${gOptExt} ${gOpt} "$@" The solution: You need to run the programms with the gtk style, in this way: - for writer: wps -style gtk+ - for presentation: wpp -style gtk+ - for spreadsheets: et -style gtk+ PD: I'm trying to improve my english.
