The ZFS packages have been updated to Kernel 3.6.11. !! IMPORTANT !! If you are using the archzfs package repo, you will need to update your server string to "http://demizerone.com/$repo/core/$arch". This change was made to allow for multiple repositories. The repo path will not be changed again. I have now added support for a testing repository. This repo tracks the kernel in the official testing repository. The server string for the testing repo is "http://demizerone.com/$repo/testing/$arch". For more information, visit http://demizerone.com/archzfs

@sweston, I was actually working on compiling i686 packages last night. I ran into some build issues though and think your tip will help me through. Thanks!

Just a note to anyone having issues building on i686; you will need to compile spl with an extra option for ZFS to build properly: https://github.com/zfsonlinux/zfs/issues/814

I can confirm this builds properly on arm (my raspberry pi) and i686 (a pentium III). I know this isn't entirely recommended but the developers have been working on 32-bit stability lately and it is stable so far for me. If you could add arm and i686 to the 'arch' line that would make my life marginally easier. Thanks

Just a heads up, I am currently on vacation, so if there is some reason I cannot push ZFS updates you can get them here: https://github.com/demizer/archzfs-backups/tree/master/testing The last numerical digits of the package version are the kernel version the package is built against.

ZFS rc13 was just released. I will update the package when kernel 3.6.11 is released to core.

@chenxiaolong: Thanks, that worked like a charm. For anyone else who follows this advice, remember to `depmod -a` after building ZFS, else zfs and zpool won't find the newly installed modules. Take note that without any options to configure, man pages and some other things aren't installed. It should be enough to just copy the flags from the PKGBUILD to fix that.

I have updated the packages to pkgrel 8 fixing the initial ramdisk generation after installing the updated zfs package in cases of using zfs in the hooks array in mkinitcpio.conf.
