I've just pushed a fix for this and another git-related issue. Let me know if you stumble upon anything else.

I am getting the following error trying to install this:
Starting prepare()... sed: can't read config/default.json: no such file or directory
This then causes the install to fail. Any advice?

Oh, my bad then. I thought the service was enabled automatically. Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for your answer.

I just tested this is a clean installation. Did you enable the service after installation? I don't do this as it seems to be common practice.

Thank you for your quick response. I've just reinstalled the package and rebooted my system, but I still had to run systemctl start zotero-translation-server.service to access the translation endpoints. I also cleared my yay cache to make sure I got the latest version.

Thanks for pointing this out. This should be fixed now. I have also improved the handling of the git submodules.

I think the .service file is not being enabled correctly. I had to manually start it with systemctl.
