Hi, build still fails in Jan2022. I grabbed crypt.h from https://github.com/rashadkm/minizip, added it to src/kml/base/contrib/minizip and modified line 187 of unzip.c in the same folder (change <minizip/crypt.h> to <crypt.h>.)

@geosam, why don't you patch this to fix the minizip build error? what's the point in leaving a broken package here?

Please use https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/libkml-dev. I can't change the version until it's officially released, so you can use the GIT version that compiles correctly.

Build fails in:

| fatal error: minizip/crypt.h not found

Same error with minizip (1:1.2.11-3 from core) and minizip-git (2:2.3.3-1 from AUR)

EDIT: It seams that it is a problem with the internal minizip. i archived a success build with the HEAD of the branch https://github.com/libkml/libkml/tree/synced_upstream

Please add boost to builddeps

Please rename the source file to add the package name for the sake of those using AUR helpers: source="${pkgname}-${pkgver}.zip::https://github.com/kubark42/libkml/archive/master.zip"

I'm disowning the package; anyone feel free to adopt and improve it. Thanks!

The package fails to build for me unless I add -O2 to the CXXFLAGS, due to fortify source options requiring an optimization level

Fixed; thanks for your hints!
