@yochananmarqos: Awesome, thanks for the quick response. I can confirm that the build succeeds now.

@dfx: Thanks for the heads up, it's fixed.

The build fails for me with this error:

apostrophe-v2.5/data/meson.build:4:0: ERROR: Function does not take positional arguments.

I found this upstream issue that I suppose is related: https://gitlab.gnome.org/World/apostrophe/-/issues/357. However, I failed to successfully apply the suggested patch.

@PHLAK: You apparently haven't rebuilt your Python packages. See https://www.reddit.com/r/archlinux/comments/rf6c84/psa_python_310_is_in_core_rebuild_your_aur/

Apostrophe stopped working for me recently with the following error when launched from the terminal.

$ apostrophe
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/bin/apostrophe", line 39, in <module>
    import apostrophe
ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'apostrophe'

I've opened an issue on GitLab but so far doesn't appear to be an issue with Apostrophe itself. Is there a possible issue with the AUR packaging?

@caleb: URL is updated.

I don't know what happened to their GL Pages based site (the branch for it is unmaintained) but the correct project URL at this point seems to be: https://gitlab.gnome.org/World/apostrophe

@somas95: Done!

@yochananmarqos Apostrophe maintainer here. otf-fira-mono should be a required dependency, for various reasons, not an optional one. Some features of the app depend on the specific width of fira-mono characters

Thanks!
