It looks like the gcc-5 dependency is unnecessary with newer versions of cuda/arrayfire. See here:

@pavanky Thank you very much, it worked! Getting segmentation fault when trying to use the opencl exemples though, but that problem doesn't belong here. Once again thanks for the fast reply! :)

@Deathaluz the latest version of GLEW does not have GLEWMX anymore but the visualization part of arrayfire requires GLEWMX. I updated the PKGBUILD to disable graphics when building arrayfire. Can you please try again now?

Hello I'm having the following error: CMake Error: The following variables are used in this project, but they are set to NOTFOUND. Please set them or make sure they are set and tested correctly in the CMake files: GLEWmxd_LIBRARY

@Svenstaro, Thanks for the pointers. I will look into it and update the package.

About my issue: https://github.com/arrayfire/arrayfire/issues/1040 So please add freeimage for now. In fact, you might as well generate docs in the package. Also, I recommend you handle the git submodules a bit more "properly" for pacman. Check out my blender package and copy the submodule handling: https://projects.archlinux.org/svntogit/community.git/tree/trunk/PKGBUILD?h=packages/blender

@pavanky: absolutely! Package disowned.

@bchretein would it be OK if I took over maintaining the arrayfire package ? I am the lead developer of the project and also use arch as my only distro. This package needs updating and I would love to help maintain it properly.
