Thanks fukawi2, good call. Fixed.

This does not build using makechrootpkg $startdir is depreciated AFAIK, this resolves the issue and allows the package to build correctly: --- /tmp/PKGBUILD.old 2013-03-27 11:37:07.759629597 +1100 +++ PKGBUILD 2013-03-27 11:37:23.838707903 +1100 @@ -30,7 +30,7 @@ chmod +x ${pkgdir}/usr/lib/${pkgname}/${pkgname} mkdir -p ${pkgdir}/etc - cp ${startdir}/${pkgname}.pl ${pkgdir}/etc + cp ${srcdir}/${pkgname}.pl ${pkgdir}/etc mkdir -p ${pkgdir}/usr/lib/${pkgname}/help cp -r help ${pkgdir}/usr/lib/${pkgname}/

ERROR: grep executable missing. Modify /etc/autopsy.pl to grep's actual location (was /bin/grep, is /usr/bin/grep)

Have fun gentleman. I have added daschu117's fixes and autopsy is now compileable again. I will continue to monitor the autopsy project's progression and update the AUR package when needed.

schivmeister commented on 2011-11-30 06:06 (UTC)

Is anyone going to fix/update this?

daschu117 commented on 2011-08-17 17:27 (UTC)

My last comment should fix that error. I have no interest in maintaining the package though.

Same error here. Looks like the package has been abandonned!
