Submodule 'scripts/resin' (https://github.com/balena-io/scripts.git) registered for path 'scripts/resin'
Cloning into '../src/etcher/scripts/resin'...
done.
error: Server does not allow request for unadvertised object 481cacb7f1533985507c84f28940cada0fb109e5
Fetched in submodule path 'scripts/resin', but it did not contain 481cacb7f1533985507c84f28940cada0fb109e5. Direct fetching of that commit failed.

Thanks for the (now valid) out-of-date flag. I won't get to updating the package until this weekend, unfortunately.

1.5.18 is available on https://www.balena.io/etcher/

Please don't flag the package as out of date: the latest version available on https://www.balena.io/etcher/ is 1.5.5.

The package script installs usr/share/applications/etcher-electron.desktop. This sounds like an issue on your end. Check if the built package tarball contains usr/share/applications/etcher-electron.desktop.

I have the same issue as @abdulhakeem. The package installed but there's no way to launch it. Doing ls /usr/share/applications/etcher-electron.desktop returns No such file or directory.

You're right, that was omitted from the push due to some commit-hook shenanigans. Fixed now -- sorry about the trouble :)

@haavard Seems u forgot to update the sha256 hash for etcher-electron in the PKGBUILD file.

Cheers !

EDIT Wow that was a quick fix lol. :D Thx
