brave browser can't be set as default browser by clicking on set default button.
I made a work around solution for it (I use KDE plasma):
1- create an empty html file (file.html)
2- Right click -> Open with -> Other Application... -> chose brave & tick remember application -> Ok
I just noticed I missed your last message arcomus. This package does not build Brave. This just extracts and uses the official binary. Please make sure you're trying to install brave-bin and not some other package and if it's the case please post the makepkg output.

There is a bug in brave-bin.sh shell script. One can't open a local file that has spaces in its name. To fix this, the last line must have double quotes around $@. That is, it should be:
/usr/lib/brave-bin/brave "$@" $SANDBOX_FLAG $PEPPER_FLASH_FLAG $USER_FLAGS || true
Hello Brave builder,
I have a question. Yesterday i tried to install brave on a arcolinux i3 xfce system. I stopped the install after 3 < hours. It also put 30 gig of data on my disk.
At the end not installed and it took a long time to delete brave components.
Strange situation for me.
I just installed the package and it works perfect. Very grateful for your work

@ant0n et all, lets keep the comments here about packaging issues, general Brave usage issues should go in another forum to not clutter up this comment space. I'm deleting comments that have no relation to packaging. Grey areas like crashes that could be blamed on Arch can stay until proven otherwise, but things like how to configure Brave to handle popups or site X or whatever just don't belong here. Thanks for understanding.
