@alecmev fetch the latest PKGBUILD and try one more time. I think I fixed it.

@alecmev I just cloned a clean, fresh copy of the AUR module and built from there. Can you try that?

Not totally sure how to resolve this for people without cleaning the build directory and rebuilding. If you have suggestions, please post them.

I'm hitting currently a build error, the build script probably needs an update.

Can you add to an .install-file a post install message printing something like

Before first use, you need to create "${HOME}/.config/captive-browser.toml".
You can use '/usr/share/captive-browser/example/captive-browser.toml' as a template and edit it to your needs (e.g. configuring the browser to use).

Now, when the user starts captive-browser after installation, there is just an error message like

2020/07/22 11:53:28 Failed to read config: open /home/user/.config/captive-browser.toml: no such file or directory

and no hint what to do (captive-browser --help does also not give any hint how this config file should look).

The depends=google-chrome should be removed - it is not a necessary dependency. The optdepends already contains google-chrome and chromium, which is the correct behaviour - both are just optional dependencies.

It definitely works with chromium. The depends=google-chrome is a bit nasty. But perhaps there is not way to say depends=google-chrome OR chromium? That's something that's supposed to be solved using provides. But I don't think the chromium pkg will get a provides=google-chrome (or the opposite) :}
