I have an updated PKGBUILD ready to upload and am waiting for the orphan request to get approved.

So the maintainer still did not fix it a year later after we reported it...

Got same built error as @Tio. Works successfully after removing the check() function from the PKGBUILD.

The errors are due to invalid-styles in descriptions in appdata.xml, which is actually not a bug.
