Great, thanks.

I have created a package tracking the tagged releases at https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/cue-music-command

I avoided using cue because the package name is taken by https://archlinux.org/packages/extra/x86_64/cue/ and resorted to the upstream repo name

very nice package, thanks!

@m040601 Thanks for the advice! The path has been changed to the correct /usr/bin and the license has been added as well. As for the docs, if at some point they exist i will add them.

The install folder has been changed to usr/bin.

Thanks for working on this PKGBUILD.

It needs corrections. You first need to check if you have read and understood the Archlinux AUR guidelines, https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Arch_User_Repository

  • AUR submission guidelines
  • Creating packages

For example,

install -Dm755 cue "$pkgdir/usr/local/bin/cue"

This is wrong, "/usr/local/bin" should definetly not be used.

The repo https://github.com/ravachol/cue also has a README, LICENSE and maybe docs or man pages in the future. These should go into something like for example,

/usr/share/licences/cue/LICENCE
/usr/share/doc/cue/README
