@dvalter thanks for your response... the JAVA_HOME is set to "JAVA_HOME=/usr/lib/jvm-11-openjdk/bin/java", not sure what the "ant script" is,looks like it is too complicated for me, just wanted to install the drawio for testing but can try the online version as well, thanks anyway

@kroloskar it looks like you have invalid JAVA_HOME variable. In Arch Linux ant first tries to use "$JAVA_HOME/bin/java" and alternatively tries to find java in PATH via which. In my case it's a usr/bin/java symlink form java-runtime-common. The second option works fine in default Manjaro as well (docker: manjarolinux/base:latest) So I assume something is wrong with some of: 1. JAVA_HOME in your environment 2. Some code in your system setting JAVA_HOME 3. ant script in your system

It is Manjaro here with KDE Plasma 5.18 when I try to install I am getting this error: "... ==> Starting build()... We cannot run Java, please ensure you have Java installed. We have tried to execute /usr/lib/jvm-11-openjdk/bin/java/bin/java but failed. ..."

my java is in /usr/lib/jvm-11-openjdk/bin/java

any advice?

@zack6849 valid point, I should not use releases, considered unstable by drawio author.

@dvalter Thanks!

Any thoughts on this, @dvalter?

Thanks!

@larsrh, thank you for pointing out, now it's fixed

Please remove the gconf dependency, it's unneeded (see also https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/gconf/)

@danhyal I disagree because packaging (on top of system-wide Electron) is fairly fast and simple, and usage of distro Electron instead of bundled seems fairly reasonable in GNU/Linux.

should delete this package since drawio-desktop-bin is a better solution.
