@jticket1024 Can you please fix the version function so it doesn't start with v and does include a counter, per the package guidelines on the wiki? Also see the OOD flag where the upstream has changed. While you are at it check that there are no build changes upstream since this was setup.

You might also consider adding @alex19EP as a co-maintainer (he claims to be upstream maintainer too).

It appears there is a bit of development when looking at the upstream version at https://github.com/williamh/espeakup.git . I would also like to point out you might like to cherrypick this pull request to allow fast rates https://github.com/williamh/espeakup/pull/4
