The issue with video syncing no longer requires the '-s' option for all videos now, as the developer fixed a bug on the x86_64 architecture that was causing the problems.

I think it would be good, if you included the readme into /usr/share/doc/fbff-git/README, because there's no other way to know the available options.

The software has been patched to fix an issue with video-syncing (the patch was supplied by the developer). I haven't written a man page for this yet, but there is a README available: http://repo.or.cz/w/fbff.git/blob/master:/README With the patch, I haven't had any issue with audio/video sync, though please post a comment if you have an issue.
