Hi, as @mbunkus mentioned below, it relies on patches to appstream, that lives in the org.flatpak.Builder package. These patches are changed/added/removed over time, as per Flathub's need. Without that, as you can see in the issue, it's unusable.

The package here is also missing some dependencies, notably, pygobject, desktop-file-validate along with the 2 mentioned below.

I don't think AUR will allow such a patched appstream or flatpak-builder just for this package. Without them the package here has very limited usability, in my opinion.

Please consider removing this package. The developers of the program clearly state[1] that the only supported way of running flatpak-builder-lint is either via Docker or via Flatpak due to it relying on extra patches in other programs, something this AUR package cannot provide. The current git version is broken without those aforementioned patches.

Everyone else: don't install this. Use a method described by the developers as supported in [2].

python-lxml seems missing too.

It appears to be missing the python-sentry-sdk dependency.
