@WallaceIT Thank you for your information, I have now fixed it. It seems that this is the new behaivour (and intended) for makepkg.

makepkg returns "ERROR: file (('fped.install')) does not exist", fixed by me removing brackets and commas from line install: install=('fped.install') => install=fped.install

This is the newer fped, it is been moved from Openmoko to Qi Hardware now, and they use git, therefore this new package.

This application has moved from Openmoko to Qi Hardware, and therefore you should use 'fped-git' instead. See https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=55575
