When reporting this package as outdated make sure there is indeed a new version for Linux Desktop. You can have a look at the "Stable updates" tag in Release blog for this.

You can also run this command to obtain the version string for the latest chrome version:

$ curl -sSf https://dl.google.com/linux/chrome/deb/dists/stable/main/binary-amd64/Packages | \
     grep -A1 "Package: google-chrome-stable" | \
     awk '/Version/{print $2}' | \
     cut -d '-' -f1

Do not report updates for ChromeOS, Android or other platforms stable versions as updates here.

With the latest version 35.0.1916.114 i can't use external plugins (java, etc) chrome://plugins show only the defaults, others plugins are not present (even if they are correctly installed) Before update they worked.

If somebody whats to have chrome pinned to docky add StartupWMClass=Google-chrome-stable to the .destktop file. Is it posible to add it to the .deb file? More info: http://en.eduard-dopler.de/148/problems-with-chrome-icon-in-docky/

And, as also mentioned, at least one possibility is your passwords.

Downgrading to Version 34.0.1847.137 causes this warning: Your profile can not be used because it is from a newer version of Google Chrome. Some features may be unavailable. Please specify a different profile directory or use a newer version of Chrome.

I get strange graphics artifacts starting with Version 35.0.1916.114.

thx Det! v35 was very awful, SmoothScroll also did not work.

Those with LastPass don't have these kinds of issues :).

After rollback it isn't able to work properly with saved passwords (doesn't fill inputs with saved values). Perhaps they were converted to another format.
